Role Purpose Good knowledge of quantity surveying duties and have a successful track record in performing these duties With support from more senior members of the commercial team, they will manage the costs of the works and ensure that their part of the project meets legal and quality standards. Responsible for the effective engagement and management of our supply chain. Ideally have a quantity surveying degree or be in the final stages of achieving the same on a part-time basis. What you'll be doing As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have the following accountabilities: Has a good knowledge of and adheres to the Companys GMCEs, BMS and other governance Gather data & carry out research on current construction costs Measure, record & value work supervised in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures Seek out, locate and assemble pre and post contract documentation, complimented with the necessary administration skills.
