A Supervisor is needed for a local and very aspiring manufacturing company based in Dewsbury. The Supervisor position is permanent and a perfect opportunity for someone to develop their career.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Delivery
1. To ensure productivity, schedule adherence, and customer service requirements are met
2. Complete Ownership for all inventory
3. Ensuring that all loads are dispatched efficiently on time.
4. Ensuring the effective communication for production area
5. Actively drive through through continuous improvement
People Management
6. Ensure that every Team member is there on time for shift changeovers and breaks.
7. Process Staff time sheets
8. Ensure all Operatives are working to correct procedures and production levels.
Quality
9. Ensure the completion of all PI counts and stock takes are completed accurately and on time.
10. Ensure all Operatives are trained to the appropriate standard and understand their impact on inventory accuracy.
Safety and General
11. Create and maintain a culture of behaviour based safety.
12. To ensure staff are working safely to health and safety requirements and standards
13. Accountable for the safe systems of work and adequate training.
14. Addresses all Health and Safety & COSHH Issues specific to each area through effective audits and risk assessments.
Person Specification:
15. Good manufacturing management experience, demonstrating significant results through lean principles implementation and usage.
16. Comprehensive knowledge of production planning / manning requirements.
17. Either ILM 3 Certified or willing to undertake training.
18. PC literate / numerically competent.
19. Excellent communication, and organization skills
20. Energetic and enthusiastic.
21. Adaptable to change
22. Self Motivated
