About the role The University of Bath’s Sustainability team is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Behaviour Change Assistant to support our mission of embedding sustainability into our institution’s culture and operations. As a key member of our open and collaborative team, you will play a vital role in increasing awareness, enabling greater staff and student engagement, and promoting our commitment to sustainability. Key responsibilities Support organisational change through behavioural and cultural sustainability interventions Coordinate student-focused sustainability programmes and activities such as Climate Literacy and Climate Fresk workshops Organise sustainability-related events, including Green Week, campus campaigns, and representation at University-wide events Analyse engagement data using tools like Google Analytics to refine communications strategies Develop and manage engaging digital content, including maintaining webpages and writing regular newsletters Plan and execute creative communication campaigns to promote sustainability initiatives and behaviour change Manage and create content for social media channels to enhance engagement About you The ideal candidate will be able to demonstarte: a creative flair for engagement and communications an interest and passion for sustainability issues with an interest in engaging, influencing and persuading others of the need for urgent change experience using basic IT software, creative tools such as Canva and Adobe, and web tools such as wordpress and Google Analytics an understanding of how to design and target interventions and communications activities based on user needs a demonstrable understanding of the sustainability agenda in an organisational context a proactive and strategic approach with excellent time-management skills an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels with strong interpersonal skills an adaptable, creative and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving This is a full time, fixed term position for a period of 2 years.
