About the Role:
You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mobility equipment such as scooters, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices. This hands-on role combines technical workshop duties with customer-facing responsibilities, including equipment demonstrations and basic training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair mobility equipment (scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs)
* Conduct routine servicing and safety checks
* Deliver and collect equipment from customer homes
* Set up and install equipment at customer locations
* Provide demonstrations and basic training to customers
* Offer friendly and professional customer service
About You:
* Previous experience in mechanical or electrical repair (mobility equipment experience preferred)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Experience working with vulnerable or elderly customers
* Full UK driving licence
* Reliable, punctual, empathetic and practical
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.80 per hour
