The EWR North Commercial Management team specializes in commercial and contract management across major infrastructure programmes and frameworks, providing commercial governance, contract administration, and financial and risk management support.
Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Commercial Manager to play a key role within our project management team in the north of the UK, working across Energy, Water, and Resources projects. The role supports Project Managers and Project Directors in commercial management activities and contributes to the development and implementation of best practice across our services.
Responsibilities
* Support project commercial negotiations and review contracts.
* Manage fee reconciliations, applications and financial inputs for projects and fee proposals.
* Provide commercial advice and guidance to bid and project managers.
* Support commercial risk management and continuous improvement across projects.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
* Strong track record in the infrastructure sector with substantial relevant experience.
* Detailed experience with the NEC4 suite of contracts, including PSC and ECC.
* Experience preparing financial and commercial inputs for projects and fee proposals.
* Knowledge of a design consultant’s cost base and open‑book contract experience.
* Experience supporting negotiations and settlement of claims.
* Knowledge of Earned Value Management.
* Experience with scheduling and planning processes, including critical path analysis.
* Degree qualified with relevant infrastructure industry experience and a professional qualification.
