It is an enjoyable social activity that supports residents dignity and quality of life.
The Hairdresser plays an essential role in maintaining that sense of independence, fulfilment and choice. The Hairdresser must be able to cut, style, colour, set and permanently wave hair to a professional standard. You will also provide clients with hair and scalp treatments.

Many of our residents enjoy the social aspect of visiting the salon so you must be friendly, kind, sociable and enjoy conversation. Patience and kindness towards our residents living with dementia is essential.
