Applications are invited for the above post based in the Pathology Department, Ninewells Hospital.
The successful applicants will be required to carry out routine laboratory duties across various sections of the Department. These duties include computer data entry, chemical preparation, filing, basic laboratory procedures in support of Biomedical Scientists, and general housekeeping under supervision. Candidates should be educated to SVQ level 3 or have equivalent experience or competencies within a laboratory setting.
We are a progressive, teaching hospital department with an annual workload of approximately 25,000 surgical pathology and 2,000 diagnostic cytology requests. The base is at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
