Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Glasgow (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £75,000 – £80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications
Work with Java versions 8, 11, and 17 in enterprise-level environments
Implement complex business logic using multithreading techniques (cornerstone skill)
Develop and manage Spring-based applications with a focus on dependency management
Design robust and scalable systems with a solid grasp of system design concepts
Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring optimal performance
Integrate and manage Kafka for messaging and event-driven architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17
Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring Framework- especially Spring dependency management
Expertise in multithreading and concurrent programming
Solid understanding of system design principles and scalable architecture
Strong database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience working with Kafka in production environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
