Recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support 3 children with mild ADHD & Autism in the reception area of a Hornchurch School. For the role the children need a daily routine and learn through play to settle and engage with the rest of the class.
To start as soon as possible - Monday to Friday 8.15am - 3.15pm (30 minute lunch) term time only.
EYFS Teaching Assistant:
* To have an understanding of phonics and EYFS curriculum is essential.
* Working alongside the teacher to be a role model and guide for children.
* Experience, knowledge and skills working with Early Years children that have Learning Difficulties ie Autism & ADHD
* Knowledge and an understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics to support the children with their learning and development.
* Building intellectual, social, emotional and physical skills whilst promoting enjoyment of learning.
* To keep a safe environment and be aware of all Safeguarding Policies and procedures.
* Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
* Qualified with a relevant Early Years, L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
