Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver innovative interventions to support progress towards outlined outcomes in line with learners' EHCPs.
2. Support learners in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum and their EHCP outcomes.
3. Create resources to engage and develop learners' skills and upload evidence to Navigate.
4. Support principles and practical skills to help learners on their journey into adulthood.
5. Review learners' progress and provide feedback to aid their development.
6. Work as part of a team to create a nurturing, positive environment for learners.
7. Have English and Maths at Level 2 or above, with a willingness to improve to Level 3 or above in one or both disciplines.
8. Possess skills and knowledge related to caring for young people and adults with complex needs and PMLD (desirable).
9. Apply restorative practices in communication with learners and colleagues, demonstrating a proactive, flexible, and supportive approach.
10. Ensure care and support are delivered within college guidelines, with experience in relevant processes.

The Vine supports over 80 learners with complex needs and behaviours that can challenge. We offer a varied curriculum tailored to individual needs in line with EHCPs. Our highly skilled team focuses on developing personal and life skills to prepare learners for adulthood, aiming to foster independence and a fulfilling life. We emphasize teamwork, mutual support, and high standards.
Remuneration:
£28,796 to £30,527 per annum (full-time equivalent)
Additional Role - Study Support Coach:
Supporting our Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs department with record keeping, compliance, and funding data. This is a fixed-term role, with a pro-rata salary of £26,905 to £28,523 per annum.
Working Hours:
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
