BrightFrog is working on behalf of an exciting, global pharma company undergoing a significant period of transformational change.
One of our clients requires a Community Affairs Manager, working in the HIV Outcomes and Services Support Team on an 18-month contract. The team is responsible for supporting healthcare professionals and allied healthcare professionals to deliver service improvements that meet national standards of care for People Living with HIV (PLWHIV).

The role is field-based, so applicants can be based anywhere in the UK.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
1. Utilise knowledge and experience to support HCPs in identifying gaps between their performance and national clinical standards (BHIVA/NHIVNA).
2. Utilise credible levels of HIV therapeutic disease knowledge to promote better standards of care for PLWHIV.
3. Develop and deliver HIV education programmes supporting HCPs to understand the importance of long-term health in HIV through 1:1 and group meetings.
4. Support HCPs in implementing best practice standards and health assessments into all HIV care.
5. Develop, approve, and deploy appropriate resources to support service improvement.
6. Generate ideas to create new targeted education programmes.
7. Collaborate with external partner organisations/staff to support HCPs.
8. Represent the organisation at professional events and promote service improvement.
9. Work cooperatively with internal team members on various cross-functional projects.
10. Build and extend relationships with key customers to enhance care delivery through supporting audits, education, and service improvement.
11. Complete administrative tasks promptly, such as updating customer databases, expenses, and call reporting systems (G360).
12. Comply with all external regulations, laws, internal policies, and procedures.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
* Professional qualification, including but not limited to HCP/AHP.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully with others.
* Ownership of goals set and agreed with line managers.
* Relevant HIV knowledge is essential.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Experience in delivering clinical audits, service evaluations, and continuous service improvement within an HIV setting.
