About The Role As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the project team to deliver its strategic commitments. You will oversee certain project elements and sometimes lead smaller projects with guidance. You will work with a range of internal colleagues like Programme Leads, Senior Managers, PMO, Finance, and Technical Teams, as well as regional teams and external suppliers. Key responsibilities: * You will help set up, plan, and monitor projects, organising systems, files, and meetings. Maintaining project controls is central, ensuring documents are up-to-date, versioned, and meet required standards. * You will help monitor costs, expenses, and payments, keeping logs for risks, actions, and dependencies. Resource planning and mobilisation are also your responsibility, making sure the team has what it needs when required. * You will coordinate logistics and administrative tasks for meetings, workshops, and communications, ensuring smooth operations for the wider team. Alongside preparing work instructions and supporting lessons learned, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement and work collaboratively with colleagues across the Project Management function, providing support beyond project administration.
