The Mental Health Pharmacy team in Aberdeen is growing!
This is a new post for the Mental Health Pharmacy team and an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist to join us. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary mental health teams providing patient-centred clinical pharmacy care for in-patients and out-patients in Grampian. The post will support the development of links and provide support for colleagues in wider settings such as primary care.
You will have the opportunity to work across various clinical settings including Adult Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, Forensic, and Eating Disorders Services. You will also support the technician-led medicines to ensure an efficient and responsive supply of medicines.
This post involves a commitment to rotational weekend working (approximately 1 day every 8 weekends) in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Previous experience in mental health is not essential; training will be provided. We seek candidates with a solid foundation of skills to build upon. Ideally, you will have completed, be undertaking, or be willing to undertake post-registration training or demonstrate equivalent experience.
Provisional interview date: Thursday, 29th May.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available for successful candidates.
