About the Role
Citizens Advice Shropshire is recruiting an experienced Training Officer. Responsible to an Advice Services Manager, the role reports to an Advice Services Manager and works with the Senior Management Team (SMT) in supporting and delivering training opportunities to all volunteers, trustees and paid staff. This ensures their competence and continuing development in both client‑facing and non‑client‑facing roles, promoting quality and consistency across the organisation. The role sits alongside the HR Lead in partnership with Worknest as the Insured HR Provider.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and deliver training opportunities to volunteers, trustees and paid staff.
* Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to promote competence and development throughout the organisation.
* Ensure quality and consistency across all training initiatives.
* Work with the HR Lead and Worknest to fulfil HR training requirements.
Working Conditions
Permanent contract, 22 hours per week over 3 or more days per week, based at the Shrewsbury office. Start: As soon as possible. Post may be subject to a DBS check. No CVs – apply via the link provided.
