Operating in a complex, fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and industry to drive capital, process, and technological change. With a strong focus on people and process, you'll ensure successful project delivery and measurable business benefits - shaping the experience of millions of passengers every year.
Responsibilities
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement business change strategies and operational improvements.
* Formulate and manage the portfolio plan, including planning, coordination, and reporting of programmes and projects.
* Use strong internal networks and awareness of Heathrow's business planning to overcome barriers and drive strategic change.
* Lead and deliver business change initiatives that may sit outside of capital programmes.
* Act as the concept guardian throughout project lifecycles to ensure original intent and benefits are realised.
* Capture solution benefits, build robust business cases, and lead prioritisation aligned to Heathrow's strategic vision.
Qualifications
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data management capabilities to support effective decision-making.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional and technical programmes or projects, driving delivery in complex environments.
* Excellent communication skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups and inspiring collaboration.
* High proficiency in IT tools to support planning, reporting, and project delivery.
* Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams, including virtual and cross-departmental groups.
* Skilled in creating and executing project and programme plans, supported by compelling business cases and strategic alignment.
Ideally, you will also have:
* Business change expertise supported by relevant qualifications or frameworks (e.g. Prosci).
* Project management experience or certification (e.g. APM), with a track record of successful delivery.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills across Heathrow and the wider airport industry.
* In-depth understanding of end-to-end passenger journey processes and operational impacts.
