Experience
Essential criteria
1. Evidence of managing acutely ill / complex patients in a ward setting including management of the postoperative patient
Desirable criteria
2. Post Registration Critical Care evidence
Qualifications
Essential criteria
3. NMC registered RGN with Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
Desirable criteria
4. Post registration acute care qualification
Knowledge / Skills
Essential criteria
5. Displays evidence of a good foundation in care of acutely ill / complex patients

6. Demonstrates an ability to teach and support junior staff
