AtkinsRéalis, Balfour Beatty and Egis Road Operations UK are part of a consortium, creating Connect Plus Services, a unique partnership with a collective strength in highways asset care from finance, through to design, build, maintenance as well as day to day operation.

As part of our 30-year remit to manage and improve the capital's orbital motorway network, we deliver major improvement projects, such as widening 38 miles of the M25, refurbishing tunnels and bridges, and installing hundreds of variable messaging signs and gantries, helping to maximise the use of the network and deliver more reliable journeys. We also manage the Dartford River crossing and operate and maintain 440 kilometres of motorway providing our customer and road user with a world-class highway service.

Location:

Leatherhead, South Mimms or Dartford offices and site visits.

CPS currently has a requirement for all employees to work flexibly from CPS offices about the network.

This role is available part time, job share or full time.

Role Purpose:

The Business Policy & Information Analyst is responsible for supporting:

• Development of CPS Business Plan

• Development of CPS policy and procedures, to include RACIs and scenario tests

• Development of governance for strategic initiatives

• Development of Business Information requirements and power-BI reports

• Analysing and development of internal and external business reporting requirements

• Development of internal performance reporting metrics

Accountabilities:

The Business Policy & Information Analyst reports to and will work closely with the Head of Business Planning & Performance and the wider Business Planning team to deliver on the strategic goals of the 2024/25 Business Change requirements. Accountabilities to include:

The Business Policy & Information Analyst reports to and will work closely with the Head of Business Planning & Performance and the wider Business Planning team to deliver on the strategic goals of the 2024/25 Business Change requirements. Accountabilities to include:
* Collaborate with the Head of Business Planning & Performance and internal stakeholders to support a programme of business improvements to deliver on the strategic Business Change vision and goals.
* Support development of CPS Business Plan, policies and procedures, outlining requirements and responsibilities.
* Applying the CPS Business Change 'How to' manuals for development of RACIs for BP&P, and across CPS directorates, and to lead workshops to prepare a series of representative scenario tests for inclusion in CPS business plan/policies.
* Analyse and outline business information requirements, including analysis and design of data sets in a PowerBI dashboard-style format to drive efficient internal business quality and reporting
* Analyse and streamline internal and external business reporting requirements based on new Business Information outputs
* Develop internal performance metrics to hold CPS business to account.
* Drive design and streamlining of internal governance meetings to enable effective tracking and reporting of performance. This will include the design of data sets in a PowerBI dashboard-style format to be adopted across CPS for updating/presentation at meetings. The aim is to have 1-page dashboards to present productivity, programme, financial and commercial status against agreed baselines, with prioritised threats and opportunities

What you can bring:
* Graduate degree or similar qualification with proven analytical and reporting skills.
* Experience of preparing technical reports, policies, processes or procedures
* Experience of developing technical or business data-reporting using Power-BI or similar digital tools.
* Good understanding of business needs of a major infrastructure business or operational and maintenance environment.
* Strong organisational and time-management capabilities.
* Strong stakeholder influencing and management skills.
* Microsoft Office proficiency
