Kennedys is looking for a Client Services Manager to join our Client Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Client Relationship Partners and others in managing the quality and performance on a select number of our Global Client Programme clients.

The successful candidate will ideally be a Solicitor or CILEX with previous fee earning and client facing experience. They will report to and work collaboratively with the Head of Client Services.

The Manager will establish and maintain good working relationships with:

1. Global Client Relationship Partners.
2. Lawyers and team managers.
3. Global Client Account Managers (CAMs) and Business Development (BD) colleagues in UK and across the globe.
4. Pursuits/pitch team.
5. Marketing and Communications.
6. Business Services managers, such as those working in Finance, Client Reporting and Insights, Risk & Compliance and Audit.

Team

Kennedys' Client Services team supports our teams in delivering quality work in line with contractual requirements. It maintains and grows client relationships and supports the Firm's global growth ambition.

The Client Services team is part of our global Business Development & Marketing team and closely aligned to our Global Client Account Management team. The wider BD and Marketing team drives profitable revenue growth through a client-centric approach to client relationships, business development and marketing activity, which enhances our reputation globally. We have a BD presence in APAC, UK, EMEA, and the US.

Key responsibilities

7. Supporting Client Relationship Partners in delivering excellent service to our insurer clients in line with and going above and beyond contractual requirements
8. Become the alternative point of contact for the client to assist in promptly resolving any issues raised.
9. Understand the client, its values, business and structure. Share client knowledge across Kennedys' teams including contractual requirements.
10. Develop trusted and lasting relationships with clients' legal supply chain teams and claims managers.
11. Collaborate with BD and Client Account Managers to ensure CRPs are prepared for client meetings and attend client review meetings as required.
12. Assist BD counterparts in identifying opportunities to grow the Firm's revenue with each allocated client account.

Required experience

13. Previous experience as a fee earner including some client facing activities within a global law firm or insurance organisation.
14. Knowledge of the insurance sector.
15. Knowledge of claims handling and litigation.
16. Ability to understand and contribute to the improvement of client MI capture and provision.
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
18. Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, manage multiple projects and negotiate deadlines.
