About the role
Availability Window: Days available 06:00 to 23:00 each day from Sunday to Saturday. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times with three weeks' notice of shift dates.
Pay rate: Starts from £14.76 an hour; increases to £15.97 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply.
Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for 12 hours for those who prefer fewer hours.

As a Shift Leader you will oversee the store from the shop floor, lead the team, ensure a clean, well-stocked environment, and strive to improve customer service and store performance.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss‑free shopping experience for customers.
* Supporting colleagues to deliver daily priorities and take regular breaks.
* Opening and closing the store, completing duty cover, ensuring all decisions are right for everyone's safety.
* Acting as the go‑to person for colleagues when the manager is absent.
* Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-presented.
* Supporting managers to coordinate seasonal, community, and charity events.
* Contributing to a great team atmosphere that is inclusive of everyone.
* Providing great customer service by listening and putting customers first.
* Keeping the team well-informed and up to speed on communications, changes, or updates.
* Staying knowledgeable about store performance and looking for ways to improve and simplify operations.
* Coordinating store improvements and removing obstacles that hinder great service.
* Following health and safety routines and procedures, ensuring colleagues do the same.
* Recognizing and celebrating colleagues who provide great service.
