Senior Software Controls Engineer
Location: Oxford
Salary: Ranging from £50-£70k
The Role
* Build and maintain C#/.NET software (operator tools + backend)
* Develop control software integrating hardware subsystems (automation, sensors, motion)
* Focus on performance and reliability (multithreading, low latency)
* Integrate with industrial systems via EtherCAT / OPC UA / Modbus (or similar)
* Support testing, commissioning/deployment, and write key technical
Qualifications / Skills
\
o High-level: Modern UI/UX with C# and WPF.
o Mid-level: Industrial protocols like EtherCAT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
o Low-level: Real-time embedded control (C/C++).
