Join Our CAMHS Team: Make a Real Difference in Young Lives as a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse

If so, CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) located at Stobhill Hospital invites you to join our inpatient teams as a Band 5 Nurse, with an initial base at Skye House Adolescent Unit.
Your Role:
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in the assessment, treatment planning, and care of young people facing moderate to severe psychiatric and neurodevelopmental challenges. Your compassionate approach will help support not just the patients, but their families and carers, ensuring holistic care that embraces the young person’s wider support network—including education and community services.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, taking part in regular clinical supervision, while also shaping and developing the Band 5 nursing role within CAMHS. This is a unique opportunity to grow your expertise and make a meaningful impact in the evolving field of adolescent mental health.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities (LD) Nurse with active NMC registration
2. A compassionate, proactive nurse who thrives working both independently and as part of a team
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills
4. A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and young people
5. Willingness to participate in out-of-hours support on a rotational basis
