TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-office chartered accountancy practice firm based in their Eastbourne office. They are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience. This is a tax, ideal for an experienced Tax Manager looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer and genuine career prospects.
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for;
1. Takeresponsibility for portfolio of approx. 260 tax clients – individuals, sole traders, partners and directors
2. Maintain regular client contact on a pro-active basis, listen to needs, suggest initiatives and improvements.
3. Dealing with correspondence, reminders, checking of tax codlings and payment on account calculations and meeting client deadlines.
4. Preparation and submission of personal and partnership tax returns including computations.
5. Preparation of P11ds, dealing with Tax Credits, Rental Accounts and Income and Expenditure Accounts.
6. Tax Planning.
7. CGT Returns
8. Calculating WIP provisions for internal reporting and billing.
9. Acquire and apply technical expertise in accounting, tax and interpret laws, regulations and standards to a mixed portfolio of clients.
10. Assisting Directors, Managers and other team members as required with ad hoc tax queries.
11. Dealing with new client enquiries.
12. Technical tax research for clients.
