Job Title: 235120 Exercise Specialist (GH)

We invite applications for the Exercise Specialist (GH) role. As an Exercise Specialist you will support physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals with therapeutic exercise skills across a broad spectrum of exercise‑related health issues. You may also supervise a team of volunteers to deliver exercise provision in support of therapy, take responsibility for preparing and developing the exercise service for potential generalisation to health promotion.
Responsibilities
* Provide therapeutic exercise support to clinical teams.
* Supervise volunteers delivering exercise services.
* Prepare and develop exercise provision elements.
* Contribute to service development for health promotion.
Qualifications & Requirements
* PVG Scheme membership/record (child and/or adult group). If not a current PVG member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before commencing.
* Comply with upcoming legislative changes from 1 April 2025 regarding criminal records checks for regulated roles.
* Valid work permit for the United Kingdom.
