Job Description:
St Michael's CE Middle School is looking for a Class Teacher - Key Stage 2 to join our team. Could this be you?
Actual Salary - Main Pay Scale 1-6 only.
This job is Full Time - term time only.
It is offered on a temporary basis until 31 August 2026.
We are seeking a Key Stage 2 teacher with enthusiasm and ability to also teach Key Stage 3 English. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a primary practitioner passionate about English to teach at a higher level than typically available in primary schools. The position will be based within our Year 5 team, where you will tutor a Year 5 class and teach most lessons within this year group. As Year 5 pupils are new to our Middle School, tutors play a key role in helping them settle in—working closely with pupils, parents, and staff to support this transition.
In addition to Year 5 responsibilities, you will also deliver English lessons to Key Stage 3.
Applications from Early Career Teachers are welcome.
A clean driving licence and own transport are essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.
Please refer to the attached job description for more details.
If you have further questions, please contact the recruiting manager Clair Haynes on 01202 883433 or by email.
