Job Title: Principal Engineer – Electrical Engineering (HV)
\n
Location: Barrow-in-Furness / Hybrid 3 days on site.
\n
Salary: £45,628 – £61,500 (Commensurate with skills and experience)
\n
What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
* Defining site standards, processes and technical requirements in terms of electrical engineering for equipment, systems and facilities
\n
* Conduct reviews and assessments of design proposals to ensure that the equipment/facilities are designed, constructed, commissioned, operated and maintained in accordance with the appropriate processes and standards
\n
* Production of technical documentation and reports
\n
* Input into problem solving, engineering issues relating to the subject matter
\n
* Point of contact for High Voltage issues regarding standards for site electrical systems
\n
* Ability to chair and lead improvements (policy, equipment, capabilities) with site risk cells set up to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
\n

Your skills and experiences:
\n
\n
1. Electrical engineer with demonstratable High Voltage engineering experience of 11kV systems

2. Demonstrable experience of working in an industrial engineering environment with familiarity of commercial standards
