An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-disciplinary Integrated Respiratory Team to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced respiratory physiotherapist who is passionate about providing high quality respiratory care.
Main duties of the job
This is an ideal opportunity for those who want to further develop their specialist respiratory knowledge and skills within a well-established and supportive multi-professional team.
The Integrated Respiratory team work across both hospital and community settings, providing specialist acute inpatient care and ongoing community support.
The IRS supports admission avoidance, acute inpatient care, early supported discharge, outpatient clinics, community MDT clinics, Virtual MDT clinics, community home assessments and home oxygen assessment & review.
Job responsibilities
To establish and develop respiratory specialist practice in the multi-disciplinary management and care of adult patients with a respiratory condition, including COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis and Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
The post holder will develop a good understanding and knowledge of long-term respiratory diseases and management, and gain the ability to work autonomously within the supportive environment of an experienced team.
Working as part of the Integrated Respiratory Team to provide holistic patient centred care which is focused on ensuring care is seamless, proactive and coordinated across the hospital and community setting.

Qualifications
* HCPC Registration
* Member of CSP
* Member of a specific interest group e.g. ACPRC
Knowledge
* Post qualification clinical experience in respiratory care
* Achieved core skills in all core junior rotations, including specialty areas
* Evidence to support knowledge base in specialist area
* Experience of clinical audit/research relating to clinical practice
