Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Worcestershire Council, Children's MASH Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Worcestershire is looking for a full time MASH Team Manager for the Family Front Door
• Make threshold decisions on all referrals for children across Worcestershire, partake in daily Domestic abuse triage and MASH case discussions
• There is a team of three Team Managers who lead and manage a pod
• Seeking a Team Manager who is dynamic and able to make challenging decisions at the front door
• We know that getting it right at the point of contact makes a critical difference to children and young people and leads to positive longer term outcomes. We need someone who has sound decision making and is able to work positively as part of a team and with our partners promoting good quality practice
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
