Your Key Responsibilities
* Project manage the delivery of a caseload of R&D claims for a range of businesses, from small to very large and complex.
* Conduct detailed technical discussions with clients to explain the meaning of R&D for tax purposes and help them understand which elements of their work meet the criteria.
* Prepare and review technical documents that explain the R&D activities undertaken on client projects based on gathered information.
* Provide coaching and training to junior team members.
* Participate in business development, identifying and winning new opportunities.
* Assist in engaging with HMRC to resolve R&D questions.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* Previous R&D experience.
* IT industry experience, specifically as a software developer or engineer.
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving claim preparation methods.
* Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
* Highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of initiative, along with a collaborative and team‑building attitude.
Ideally, you’ll also
* Have experience in the Financial Services sector.
