We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Lifting Supervisor in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Construction / Heavy Engineering sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise all lifting operations at project sites.
* Ensure cranes, lifting gear, and accessories are used safely and correctly.
* Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams during lifting activities.
* Conduct pre-lift inspections and toolbox meetings.
* Review lifting plans and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
* Monitor site safety standards and enforce lifting regulations.
* Identify lifting risks and implement mitigation measures.
* Maintain records and reports related to lifting activities.
Required Skills
1. Lifting Supervision – Ability to oversee complex lifting operations.
2. Rigging & Slinging Knowledge – Understanding of load securing techniques.
3. Crane Operations Awareness – Knowledge of crane capacities and limitations.
4. Safety Compliance – Familiarity with lifting safety regulations and standards.
5. Risk Assessment – Ability to identify and control lifting hazards.
Preferred Skills
* Heavy construction project experience.
* International site exposure.
* Advanced lifting planning knowledge.
Work Experience Requirements
Typical requirement for this role is 5–10 years of experience in lifting supervision, crane operations, rigging, or heavy construction environments. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing safe lifting activities and coordinating site personnel.
Education
* Minimum: Diploma / Engineering Degree (Typical)
* Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
* Additional: Lifting Supervisor, Rigging, Safety, or Crane-related certifications

Requirements
Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP systems, and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
