<div><h3>Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager</h3><p>Location: Halifax or Leeds</p><p>Salary: £61,344-£74,976 pa</p><p>Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours)</p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We’re looking for a strategic and highly organised Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager to join our Affluent, Save & Invest Full Funnel Marketing team within Brands, Marketing & Experience. This pivotal role sits at the heart of our Strategy & Performance function. You’ll lead the development of our annual marketing strategy, translate this into a clear and actionable plan, and ensure delivery against key objectives throughout the year.</p><h3>What Youll Be Doing</h3><ul><li>Shaping, leading and delivering the creation of the annual Affluent Save & Invest marketing strategy, grounded in customer insight, market trends and business objectives.</li><li>Partnering with product, proposition and commercial teams to ensure alignment with wider priorities.</li><li>Managing your own budget and being the main decision maker on marketing strategy initiatives.</li><li>Owning the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment to strategy, budgets and resources.</li><li>Collaborating across Full Funnel teams, Marketing Accelerators and Insights, Planning & Effectiveness to deliver integrated, optimised and measurable plans.</li><li>Creating clear, compelling narratives for senior partners.</li><li>Demonstrating a strong track‑record of influencing across levels and functions.</li><li>Building strong cross‑functional relationships to enable effective delivery.</li><li>Developing stakeholder alignment and influencing skills.</li></ul><h3>What Youll Bring</h3><p>We’re looking for a proactive, self‑starting individual who approaches challenges with pragmatism and adaptability. You’ll be resilient, commercially minded, and comfortable thinking strategically while operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.</p><p>Proven experience of 5+ years across:</p><ul><li>Marketing Strategy, Planning & Delivery – strong experience in developing and delivering marketing strategy and plans, owning marketing strategy budget, and making key decisions on its use.</li><li>Business & Commercial Foresight – solid understanding of full‑funnel marketing across brand, acquisition and customer outcomes.</li><li>Communication, collaboration & influencing skills – confident in building effective, trusting relationships and influencing across all levels.</li></ul><p>It would be great if you also had:</p><ul><li>Experience within financial services or a regulated environment.</li><li>Familiarity with OKR frameworks and performance management processes.</li><li>Experience working in complex, matrixed organisations.</li></ul><h3>Accommodations</h3><p>If you require any accommodations or reasonable adjustments during the selection process, please let us know!
