The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will manage the design and delivery of the Technical Support Unit (TSU) projects and the associated capital (approx. £2m) and revenue (approx. £3m) budgets. They will work in conjunction with Police Scotland ICT specialists and TSU’s engineering teams to deliver bespoke and highly complex technical solutions, which support the force objective to investigate crime and counter terrorism as well as protecting the public. The SDM will manage the service delivery department, associated projects within the TSU Portfolio undertaking senior project management responsibilities ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget and that all project benefits are realised. Establish and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers who will be kept informed of the progress of all TSU projects / services. They will produce detailed reporting and project management documentation and will manage any project and business area risks. The SDM will lead and have line management responsibility for the Service Delivery Team and other project staff as and when required. They will provide clear direction, performance management, develop training strategies, ensure Police Scotland personnel policies are adhered to whilst creating and establishing a productive and positive working environment.
