We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Rigger to join our Humber engineering team due to a restructure. You’ll be responsible for undertaking rigging work across the four ports we operate in the Humber region, but will be based from Immingham. Ideally you’ll have experience of both offshore and lift & carry works. Responsibilities include maintenance and replacement of wire ropes on the port infrastructure, undertaking inspections and repair of lifting equipment and supporting the wider engineering teams with complex lifting operations.


Responsibilities

* Undertake rigging work across the Humber region (four ports) and support the wider engineering team with complex lifting operations.
* Maintain and replace wire ropes on port infrastructure; undertake inspections and repair of lifting equipment.


Skills & Experience

* A sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* NVQ level 3 time served rigger or equivalent.
* CPCS Appointed Persons.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Experience with loose lifting gear, wire rope inspection and replacement, servicing of cargo grabs and crane lift supervision.
* Flexibility with working pattern to suit the port operation.
* Ideally you’ll have experience with LOLER and PUWER inspections.
