Job Title: Hospitality Coordinator
We are seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to ensure the delivery of quality and cost-effective Catering and Cleaning services to clients and customers within Fife Council.
This role covers Dunfermline and surrounding villages, working as part of a team across West Fife Schools and Council Buildings.
This diverse role requires excellent organizational skills and flexibility, as responsibilities can vary daily.
Key Duties:
1. Undertake induction training for new staff as needed.
2. Identify employee development needs and assist with training.
3. Assist with personnel matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
4. Maintain appropriate food service knowledge to address non-compliance issues.
We offer a permanent position working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with approximately 7.12 hours per day. Occasional weekend work for functions and on-call duties may be required.
The salary range is £31,179.34 - £38,950.71, with benefits including:
* Pro-rata starting salary of £31,179.34, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

* Travel expenses paid at 45 pence per mile for staff using their own vehicle.

The Person Specification
* Experience in staff management.
* Budget awareness, numeracy, and literacy skills.
* Ability to travel at short notice to other Fife Council establishments.
* Valid driving license.
* Before appointment, candidates must obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant scheme.
* Attendance at an induction training session before starting in the role.
