Mental Health
Role – Locum Band 5 and 7 Occupational Therapists
Location – Warwick
Hours – Full time ideally
Band 7 Occupational Therapist Advanced
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Specific Skills
* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree and extensive experience in acute mental health and community settings
* Skilled in delivering a range of evidence-based OT assessments and interventions, both direct and indirect
* Strong clinical reasoning with ability to contribute to MDT formulation, risk assessment, and risk management
* Confident in managing complex and sensitive situations using sound professional judgement
* Experience supervising staff and supporting team development
* Ability to contribute to service improvement, audits, and identifying gaps in care
* Maintain safe, structured, and patient-centred therapeutic environments
* Effective MDT working and collaboration with external/third-sector services
* Clear communication, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical governance and Trust policies
* Adaptable with strong organisational skills to manage workload in fast-paced settings
* Full UK driving licence with access to own transport
Band 5 Occupational Therapist
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Specific Skills
* Specialist OT assessments and interventions in acute mental health/community settings
* Strong clinical judgement in complex and crisis situations
* Supervision and development of staff and students
* Service improvement, audits, and outcome measures
* Safe, structured, patient-centred therapeutic environments
* MDT working and external/third-sector collaboration
* Clear communication, accurate documentation, and policy compliance
* Strong organisation, caseload management, and adaptability
* Full UK driving licence with access to own transport (Desirable)
