The Receptionist role at Legacy Leisure offers a varied and engaging experience, involving continuous interaction with people and diverse activities within the Leisure Centre. The primary objectives include:
* Providing friendly, polite, and efficient service to all visitors.
* Creating a positive first impression of the Leisure Centre.
* Maintaining a good knowledge of the Centre's facilities and services.
Daily responsibilities involve:
* Working individually or as part of a team to understand and meet customer needs.
* Delivering high standards of customer care to foster loyalty.
* Assisting with bookings and processing payments.
* Handling telephone inquiries effectively.
* Understanding and assisting with social media platforms, including the website and app.
* Managing customer entry, issuing receipts as needed.
* Enforcing Health and Safety policies and raising concerns when necessary.
* Following cash handling procedures and reconciling monies.
* Operating communication systems like the public address system and telephones.
* Communicating messages to the team.
* Managing procedures for gym memberships and swimming lessons.
* Operating a computerised booking and point-of-sale system.
* Promoting resale and hire items.
* Addressing customer complaints according to company procedures.
* Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception environment.
* Performing any additional duties to support Centre operations.
Qualifications required include GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above, or equivalent, and RSA Level 1 certification.
