Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents/clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
* Support safe mobility and transfers, ensuring comfort and safety.
* Implement and adhere to individualised care plans, documenting observations accurately.
* Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents/clients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
* Accurately maintain care records, reporting any changes in condition promptly.
* Provide companionship and engage in social activities to promote a positive environment.
* Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Potentially drive residents/clients to appointments or activities (if applicable and with appropriate checks).
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience (minimum 6 months preferred) as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, or Support Worker within a care home, nursing home, or home care setting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* A genuine passion for providing person-centred care with empathy and respect.
* Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts, typically between 6 to 12 hours (specific shift patterns will be discussed).
Requirements (Must have):
Enhanced DBS on Update Service
Right To Work in the UK
COS or British Passport
Mandatory Training Certificates:
Desirable (Beneficial):
* NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
