This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support students who require a more tailored, supportive learning environment.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
* Assist the class teacher in creating a safe and engaging learning space
* Help pupils develop social, emotional, and academic skills
* Support behaviour management and use de-escalation techniques when needed
* Work collaboratively with school staff and external agencies to support pupil progress
* Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (SEMH, SEN, PRU, or youth work experience desirable)
* A patient, calm, and resilient approach to behaviour
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Team Teach or similar training is advantageous (training can be provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
