We are seeking a compassionate and committed Specialist Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 4–16 within a specialist educational setting. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be working in a highly respected specialist provision set in a calm, rural environment that promotes wellbeing and positive learning experiences. The setting is known for:

Pupils have a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Associated learning, behavioural and sensory needs

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
* Assist pupils with learning, emotional regulation and daily routines
* Support positive behaviour and social development
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff

Requirements
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
* Experience within specialist or SEN settings is highly desirable
* A patient, resilient and caring approach
* Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for SEN education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
