What you’re going to do (Responsibilities)
* Report to the Shift Manager and ensure all operational tasks are allocated and carried out to the highest standard, focusing on team performance and KPIs.
* Promote a culture of health and safety on site; ensure regulations are followed and accidents/incidents are reported and recorded.
* Coordinate and communicate with shift colleagues; support shift briefs, attendance and performance reporting, resolve operational issues, review planned labour, and ensure adequate utilisation of colleagues.
* Identify opportunities for upskilling and development and ensure colleagues are trained.
* Collaborate with the Shift Manager and wider shifts to drive continuous improvement, promote a positive environment around safety, quality and performance.
* Lead by example by ensuring site rules are followed and addressing unsafe or unacceptable behaviours or escalating as needed.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
* Experience coordinating, collaborating and leading operational teams, ideally in a warehousing or 3PL environment.
* Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; track record of monitoring and contributing to operational KPIs.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships; excellent customer service, logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to prioritise own workload and adapt to operational changes.

Competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. AM shift pattern from Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00am to 2:45pm.
