Cover Supervisor / HLTA
Start Date: December
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: Dependent on skills and experience
Contract: Long-term placement
We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor / HLTA to join an Alternative Provision setting from December.
In this role, you will deliver pre-set lessons to a small class of students who are currently learning outside of the classroom environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and focused learning atmosphere, supporting students with a variety of subjects, and ensuring continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote engagement
* Support students with their individual learning needs
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on progress and behaviour
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in an alternative provision or SEN setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to different subjects and learning styles
* HLTA status or relevant experience as a Cover Supervisor (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
