Children's Home Registered Manager - New Therapeutic Home

Are you an experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager ready for your first Registered Manager role, or a current Registered Manager seeking an exciting new challenge? This is a rare opportunity to join a passionate team and help set up and manage a brand-new therapeutic home for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Your New Role
You will be instrumental in launching a stunning new residential home in Torquay. Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you'll be involved from day one, leading the home and delivering the highest levels of care and support.
This is more than just a management role; it's a chance to build a service from scratch, shaping a positive and nurturing environment for young people aged 7 to 18. Your focus will be on quality and ensuring every child has the opportunity to lead a happy and successful life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Setup: Work with senior management to open and register a brand-new children's home.
* Leadership: Provide strong leadership, direction, and management for the residential service.
* Quality of Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic care and support.
* Compliance: Maintain a high standard of care and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your staff team to achieve excellent outcomes for young people.

Required Skills & Experience
* Qualifications: NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services) and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services (or equivalent).
* Experience: Previous experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children's residential home.
* Expertise: Experience working with children and young people with EBD, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviours.
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
