Job Title: Plating Supervisor
Project: Various
Location: Grimsby and surrounding area
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: 18/4/26
Hours: 38 per week, overtime available in the busier periods
Rate: £26.42
Lodging: Not payable for this position
Key Aims and Objectives
* Assist in ensuring all project/company SHEQ goals are achieved and exceeded where possible
* Establish effective liaison with client/sub‑contractor/vendor representatives
* Deliver a high standard of trade service to the project, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is always implemented
Primary Duties
* Work safely in accordance with site and company rules at all times
* Carry out all work in accordance with vocational training and associated risk assessment and method statements
* Report all near misses, dangerous occurrences, safety observations and inappropriate behaviour of others to line management
* Actively participate in all company and client/project safety initiatives
* Continuously review and refer to work packs/drawings to ensure work scopes are being executed as planned
* Escalate any anomalies to line manager/supervisor
Essential Qualifications and Certifications
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent)
* Supervisory experience
* CCNSG Safety Passport
Desirable
* Manual handling training
* MEWP licence
* SMTD certification
* IOSH membership
