1. NMC registered Nurse
2. Recognised teaching qualification
Desirable criteria
3. Physical Examination of the Adult Course
4. Relevant specialist cardiology Course
5. Advanced communication/ counselling skills
Knowledge
Essential criteria
6. Developments in Cardiology initiatives and treatments at national and local levels
7. ECG recording / interpretation
8. In depth knowledge of Cardiac anatomy and physiology
9. Conversant with current developments affecting cardiac patients in cardiology at national and local levels
Interpersonal skills
Essential criteria
10. Excellent interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary team, patients, carers and relatives
11. Organisation and planning skills
12. Time management
13. Ability to prioritise effectively
Desirable criteria
