Hayward Hawk is partnering with a global professional services organisation undergoing a major digital transformation programme. With a growing international presence and a strong focus on innovation, the organisation is investing heavily in modernising core applications, consolidating legacy systems, and implementing best-in-class technologies to drive operational excellence.
As part of these initiatives, we are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to provide strategic oversight, technical leadership, and hands-on expertise for our client. This role is critical to ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, and aligned with the organisation's broader IT strategy, particularly during periods of growth and integration.
Role Overview
You will own and lead the ServiceNow platform, managing the governance, performance, and roadmap. Working closely with senior stakeholders across IT and the wider business, you will identify how the platform can be leveraged to deliver value, streamline processes, and integrate new entities into a unified environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the strategic owner for the ServiceNow platform, defining and maintaining its roadmap in line with enterprise IT objectives.
* Oversee governance processes including change management, release management, and compliance.
* Lead the design, enhancement, and delivery of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SAM, BCM, SecOps, and others as required.
* Mentor and guide a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
* Manage integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., governance, risk, identity, and analytics platforms).
* Stay current with new ServiceNow releases and assess their applicability.
* Support integration of newly acquired entities into the ServiceNow ecosystem.
* Maintain comprehensive platform documentation, technical standards, and best practices.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
* 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years in ServiceNow platform ownership, architecture, or large-scale implementation.
* Proven experience leading enterprise-level ServiceNow deployments.
* Strong technical expertise in ServiceNow modules, data structures, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
* Knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration design patterns.
* Experience supporting business growth through mergers, acquisitions, or major system integrations.
* Relevant ServiceNow certifications (highly desirable).
