Job Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager the accounts assistant will have the following duties:
* Creating accounts for new customers / suppliers
* Producing sales invoices/purchase invoices
* Inputting of purchase invoices onto in house system
* Sales ledger & Credit control duties
* Managing all of the invoice queries and ad hoc accounts queries
* Housekeeping of in-house databases (excel based)
* Maintaining confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary
* Ensuring excellent communication between departments
* Observing and complying with VAT regulations/company procedures
The Successful Applicant
The successful accounts assistant MUST have:
* Proven track record in similar role
* Knowledge of sage experience, ERP systems
* Proficient in excel
* Highly organised and excellent communication skills
* Adaptable and able to work in a team
