Temporary Supervisory Assistant
Hours: 5 Hours - Term Time only
Salary: Grade 2 (£25,185 x 11.87%)
Start Date: as soon as possible
The Governing Body wishes to appoint a Temporary Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to complement our existing team.
Perthcelyn Community Primary School is situated in Perthcelyn, Mountain Ash. We currently have 121 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11 (which include 18 pupils who access our two ASD Learning Support Classes).

The successful candidate will need to:
•Be comfortable with children and be able to support them on a daily basis.
•Have patience and empathy when supporting our children
•Have excellent people skills
•A willingness to work hard
Duties will include:
•Supervising children in the Dining Hall, in the playground and when it is raining, in the classroom.
•Monitoring and managing children’s behaviour (in line with the school’s behaviour policy)
•Following the school Safeguarding policy and procedures
•Assisting the children with any needs they have.
