Job Type – Team Leader - PT or FT available
Salary - Rates of pay from £13.21ph depending on store location
Hours of Work - 15 hours a week OR 37.5 hours a week
As a Team Leader at a Hobbycraft Concession, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the unit. You will deliver excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and drives incremental sales. Delivering a truly customer-focused experience is key to our continued success. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
16. Teamwork and Leadership – you will lead by example, coaching colleagues where appropriate, to drive outstanding customer service and commercial awareness in the team

18. Planner – You will ensure the store is set for a successful day of trade

20. Merchandiser – You will be required to co-ordinate the working of deliveries, manual handling is an essential part of the role
21. Click and Collect – you will be required to co-ordinate the Click and Collect process
22. Policy expert - you will comply with Company policies and Health and Safety Regulations ensuring the store remains a safe and legal place to work for the team
23. Communicator - you will deliver clear and concise communications, such as key messages and daily targets, so the team understand the expectations and how to deliver them
24. Workshops – you will be required to host various workshops in-store
25. Store Management – You will be responsible for the running of the concession. Your responsibilities will also include but will not be limited to: being a keyholder, responsible for opening and closing the concession, cash controls, PI counts, general admin, back of house access, general store and colleague security, all data compliance (e.g payroll, recruitment, personal data)
26. Recruitment – you will assist the Area Manager to build a high performing team through the recruitment, induction and training of new colleagues
27. Colleague Support – you will provide support and coaching for colleagues where appropriate
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience:
28. A proven track record of the following in a retail or similar environment: Duty Management experience is highly advantageous Passionate about sales and driving profit Keyholding Cash handling and security awareness Coaching colleagues Merchandising experience Health and safety compliance Awareness of store key performance indicators (KPIs)

JOB SUITABILITY
This role would suit a current Team Leader in a Retail, or similar, environment, or an experienced colleague looking to make their first move onto the Management career path. The candidate should be a confident and professional individual, who is able to support the management of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment; someone who is calm and resilient, able to work well under pressure and cope with changing priorities.
