InthisroleyouwillformpartoftheteamworkinginourNEWchildrenshomeatLilyResidentialServicessupportingina 1:1capacity.Thishomewillofferspecialisedcaredesignedtoprovideindividualisedsupportforchildrenandyoungpeoplewithspecificandcomplexneedsthatmaynotthriveintraditionalgrouphomesettings. Thisrolewillincludeshiftworkandsleep-inthepropertyonaverage2.33aweek.
AsaResidentialChildcareWorker,youwillbeinvolvedinsupporttheyoungpersonsactivitiessuchas:
* Outdooractivities,beachdays,walksaroundtheparksorlocalarea,cycling,paddleboarding,movienightsin,adventureparks,weeklyhousetakeawaysandmealsout.
* Asarolemodeltoouryoungpeopleyouwillprovidedailycareandsupporttochildrenandyoungpeopletomakesuretheycanmakegoodchoices.
* Teachingandpromotinglifeskillstohelpthechilddevelopindependenceandself-sufficiency.
* Youwillsupportintherunningofthehomesuchascookingthehomemeals,cleaning,supportinginmaintainingahomethatouryoungpeoplewanttolivein,firstaid,healthandsafety,gardening,growingyourownveg(ifspaceallows!).
AsaResidentialChildcareWorker,youwillalso:
