We are currently working with a range of mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as specialist provisions in and around Staines, who are seeking full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the 2025–2026 academic year. Earlier starts are also available for the right candidates.
These schools support students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning differences. Whether in a mainstream classroom or a small-group setting, your role will be vital in helping young people reach their full potential.

The Role – SEND Teaching Assistant
You’ll support students who need extra help with their learning and personal development, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists. Roles vary by setting but may include:
Responsibilities:
Supporting students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication or sensory processing challenges
Working 1:1 or in small group settings (max. 6 students)
Helping implement EHCPs, behaviour support plans, and learning strategies
Encouraging students' confidence, independence, and social skills The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant Will:
Be resilient, dependable, and positive
Be available Monday to Friday (full-time only)
Have experience supporting young people (e.g., in education or as a sports coach)
Be open to starting before September if available
Be an excellent team player with strong communication skills
Hold a valid UK DBS or be willing to apply (we can help)
Have current UK right to work – this role is not open to overseas applicants
