A Vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint one full time Consultant Psychiatrist (1.0 WTE) in CAMHS East Core Team to work within its Mental Health Services.
The Mental Health Services (MHS) division within BWC comprises Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB), a unique, innovative community and inpatient mental health service delivering a pathway of care for 0–25-year-olds. The service is led by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and is the first of its kind nationally. Bringing together the expertise and commitment of BWC, the Priory Group and The Children’s Society, FTB offers a wide range of mental health support options tailored to the needs of the young people, young adults and families it cares for and supports.
Responsibilities
You will be qualified with specialist registration with GMC or within six months of obtaining specialist registration. Experience of working within an MDT is essential.
You will have Approved Clinician status and S12 approval or be willing to achieve these within three months of appointment.
